you have imported Olabishi-Chinue Asali from Austria ?- Actually the sire to this female is
Banjoko African Destiny, who was bred in Croatia and exported to Austria - and now his daughter returns to the native land ! :-) -
Hi PiaMerete, yes :) I know all this :)
Unfortunately, AFRICAN DESTINY doesn't exist anymore. I'm planning to go to Croatian Kennel Club soon to find out more…but I'm pretty sure there isn't any active breeder in the recent years. I've try to contact every breeder on this list before and give up :(
But never mind anymore. We will register ourselfs as a Basenji breeder ;)Of course I know that Banjoko is form Croatia :D I'm so happy because of the fact that Asali will return to the native land ;)

hi Nikol,
first of all, congratulations to your basenji girl!
Also, me and my husband decided to try and change situation here in Croatia and start a web page to introduce Basenjis with people here and we will get a male puppy soon and give it a try in breeding ;)
please check first if there is any demand for basenjis in your area.
i can imagine the breeder stopped their activities because it was difficult to find good places for their pups, since it's not a breed for everyone. -

Welcome here Nikol. :D
Can't wait to see her. :D -

:) Thanks
I'll take it slow. This isn't like I'm going to have litter every year ;)
Mail point is to have girl and a boy, to have them as part of my family. When we decide to have a litter we'll register kennel and do it under FCI. What I'm trying to do is to create web site about Basenjis in Croatian where anyone who will be interested in a breed can learn about it on this web site.
Yesterday I found out that there would be a litter this year in Croatia, so after all I'm not the only one :DThanks all of you for your lovely words ;)
Tisa, I can't wait to meet you and your Loa!!
As I talk to breeder yesterday we will go to Austria 4th or 5th March to pick her up. So it's 21 day to go :(
…it seems so long :o -

The litter in Croatia will be from Loa's sister Asha. :)
And it will probably be red and black combination. :)The days will pass quickly, you will see. ;)
-
Yes, I saw it :)
I hope Loa have litter this year too ;) -

With that amount of white around the nose, not a surprise that it has not fully filled in yet… not something I would worry about.....
She is pretty cute!!! Good luck
