Lost and Found Basenjis

Digger is a rescue that I took in and adopted out to this owner when I used to do Basenji rescue. He was really young then and I'm glad he's made it into his teens. :)

Will BRAT be taking the girl at the shelter or will she be adopted out? Some shelters do not work with rescues if they think the dog can be adopted! Jennifer

BRAT is aware that this girl is there. Someone is going in tomorrow and will pull her if she's purebred.

I hope they get new tags as well, always important to keep them up to date!

She is very pretty with a very unique coat! If she was closer I would consider it…for which Oakley is thankful of. Hope her family finds her

update: Ginny (Basenji lost in Dennis, MA) has been sighted several times, including by Cheryl herself, and is hanging around a specific area. A humane trap will be set up tomorrow, and her new dog-brother Tom is on the job laying down a scent trail for her. Tried to pass this along to some Floridian Shiba people who will hopefully know where to direct lost/found Shiba ads!

I saw a post on FB that she was found with the help of a tracking dog and is fine.

Hmm, interesting looking dog, but not a Basenji. =) Hope they find the owners soon!
