I have always enjoyed showing to him with dogs of any color. He seems to put up a strong mover with good topline. My boy Xander won with him several times and he is a larger brindle boy.
I'm sorry but that Pekinese, even though it has won before, is still just a waddling caterpiller to me.
My picks would have been the Dalmation, Doberman, or GS.
With a Pekinese you aren't sure what is underneath that coat. He may have wonderful bone structure. With the smooth coated breeds you see what you get, no chance of hiding anything with hair there.
As long as it's not like the summer that I went to Nashville! 104 degrees at 8pm at night with 110 percent humidity! I can live with just about anything, but that!
Don't be surprised, it can be that bad…. I grew up there... I remember!
Congratulations! On a side note: I work on tracking with Oakley to help mentally stimulate him; granted its only for fun but he likes it ( for awhile)…
JAjajaja …..thanks everyone.... no I was just joking... no offense whatsoever, quite the contrary , I have great admiration for women in general, and i understood what you meant. I feel very flattered by all your comments.. thank you. Yes the show was lots of fun....and Valentina was incredible. Really it was like one of those movie moments where everyone starts cheering! It was really cool, because she really did amazing. She is a natural. so calm, she made Ayo pose still, which non of us had been able to do!!
All 3 of my pups did well. Trog earned a GRC point in LGRA, Gambit was 2nd in the 9-12 AOAC class in both Sweeps and show, and Tempest was 3rd in 9-12 Red and White in both Sweeps and show.
Kim is probably blushing somewhere! Not that I know what she looks like; we’ve never met in person. I do think this is a very deserved award. It has been a pleasure working with her. She is constantly upbeat, and very, very easy to work with in all aspects from images to text. Congratulations Kim, on well deserved recognition!
Guess I’ll have to start work on Fanconi part 2 article 🙂 This is going to be fun!
