Hemp martingale collar

I just got this Martingale style hemp collar from Earth Dog. It's very soft yet tough. It's a good everyday collar that's supposed to be hypoallergenic. The nylon collar bothers Buddy. The collar is washable too.

Actually, I love the idea of using hemp, it is very renewable for everything from rope to fabric to paper.

Welcome! I like the collar, it's 1" wide. It's not bulky and heavy on the Bs neck.

Just ordered one for Bella. Unfortunately, my wife insisted on the orange one with flowers on it.

This will be a good test of durability. So far, she's yet to keep a collor for more than a month without eating it (even the rolled leather ones).

No collar is Basenji chew proof unless it's a steel choker.

All Hounds Apparel is great if you have a collar chewer because they replace their collars for life even if chewed. All you have to do is mail back the hardware and she will send a replacement. I bought one and within a week my boy dog pulled it off the hook and chewed it. I put the hardware in an envelope with some of the pieces and sent it back to her. The next week I had a new one.

Those Basenji folks are cutting into our profits! :D So far Buddy's collar is holding up. Same with Lupine, I returned a leash and they sent a new one immediately back.
