I just love the pictures. There is nothing better to see (in real life) a horse just frolicking and running on their own. That is the way nature intended them to be. If I had horses like these I would be riding them too. I agree that riding is so very relaxing and is a lovely way to bond with your horse. There is nothing quite like it. I would still be riding if it not be for a stern warning from my ortho doc, who was involved with me when I had a really bad fall. Your property is very lovely. It must provide you with lots of peace and tranquility.

Rita Jean, That is so funny. I once had a bunny and it jumped into my daughter's parakeet cage…it looked bery confused and then jumped out again. Jess, what a beautiful bird. Are they good with children, do you know? My kids love birds, we have two zebrafinches and they make lovely noise, but that is about all they do.

I should add that Seti hurt his paw as soon as I started training. He was on "house arrest" for a month and the doctor told us that we were not to allow him to run or jump. Yeah right - like that's going to happen!!! Anyhow, Seti is all better but I wanted to add a little basenji tale to the story :)
