    There's a sweet story on the news here today about a family that lost their boxer Louie in November 2005. They thought the ground had swallowed him, no leads or anything for 13 months. The little girl was devastated to lose her dog. A few weeks ago the dad was getting ready to search a boxer rescue web site when he had to go do something, then he decided to take a nap. His oldest daughter came along and found the website and there was Louie!! Louie stayed at the boxer rescue and the parents kept it a secret from their little girl till she walked into the living room Christmas morning! That's what I call a Christmas miracle.

    Sounds like that dog needs a nail trim. (long nails are my pet peeve… that sound on my floor would make me nuts} -Joanne

    Chelsie-the B's don't get a chance to see them. The B's are in the front in a pen and the ducklings and chickens are in the back. After Shadow decided to help me butcher a chicken when we first moved in, I thought it prudent to keep them separated. They would definitely terrorize them. Yes, Robyn, I made the duck tractor. It has wheels on the one end so I can move it around. I do have a duck pen, and they will go in it when I fix the duck house. It seems rats, or something decided to make a meal of the one end and floor of the house. So, I have to fix that. I do really like it, but it won't be big enough in a couple of weeks for them. I will try to get more pics of the little monsters today. (And, the pen will work very well for one of the dogs if I ever need it!!) Yes, they grow very, very fast. If I can get a pic of them up and about, you will see how it's very hard to tell which one had the spraddle legs. The rouens are bigger than the muscoveys. There are three rouens and they have an eye stripe.     What is it with MILs and chain forwards? I really have no interest in any of them, but DHs mom keeps sending them. DH's stepmother actually never emails us a letter….only forwards......sometimes 4 or 5 a day.

    It is so true - everyone asks why we have 3 dogs. When I got Hemi, people thought he was too big. Then we got Cyrus (the B), and he was too bad. When we adopted Oscar from an animal shelter, we had too many. We get so much love and companionship from our dogs. I enjoy them more than most people I know. I wouldn't trade any of them! I would actually like to get another. Shhhhh! Jenn
