New member in New Jersey

Hello fellow Basenji lovers,
I am excited to join this community, I got my first Basenji (Meisterhaus Cupid's Caper, AKA "Comet") on Valentine's Day. He is just over three months old and is so very sweet, smart and fun! He is a very welcomed addition to our house and is in love with his "big sister," a Collie named Kip. Comet is red and white and loves to give kisses! He is a beautiful boy. Look out all you other show puppies in the Northeast… we look forward to meeting you in the ring! Also I already posted a health question in the proper forum.. I welcome any advice! -

He is adorable! I love his white…and that sweater...hilarious! We have photos that I should scan of our girl when she was a pup in a four legged fleece hoodie. I still laugh at them!

I'll have to show DH the picture of him with his big sister (she's beautiful too), he used to have a tri Collie named Onyx when he was growing up. -
We think he is beautiful too, but of course we are biased! We were very lucky to get a pup with such a fine pedigree.

Hi hdolbow- We are in Montclair. A shout out to all you former Jerseyites… How did you escape? Ha ha
HI back to Myran and Elfa- we have seen a lot of pictures of Tre! He is a beautiful dog and he seems very sweet too! We also got to meet Tre's litter that was born this winter at Meisterhaus, so we've met a lot of the family.
Wizard- The Collie doesn't know what hit her! She is great with him though. -

His son Dipop Red Dancer(Myran) has inherited his sweet disposition and so has his daughter Wazin Red Elegance(Efia).Efias sister came back to Meisterhaus you can see her on her own page over there we named her Garbo to remind her of her swedish roots.You can see more of Myran&Efia on www.wazin.se -
What beautiful babies! The resemblance to Comet is quite striking, especially in the markings. It's very nice to see other members of the family, thank you for sharing the links!

Nala121498- Collies and Basenjis seem to be a good fit, don't you think?I think you'll need a tri Basenji and a sable Collie to have a complete "set" :eek: ! I originally from Wayne…I lived in Caldwell for a while and used to frequent Montclair quite a bit. My sister used to work there too!
