I would think same rules apply as obtaining any dog + a basenji :)

If she is well behaved, she must have gotten more lab than B. She looks very sweet.

She is very cute and looks very sweet. If she is well behaved, it sounds like she would be a great addition.

Can any of you tell for sure if Ginger is a basenji mix, she really looks like it from what I can tell?

I have a BRAT page we send for bonding with a rescue.
If you would like me to send it to you privately, I would be happy to.
Just let me know.
Seems like a sweet dog.
I so hope it works for you. -

I got Ginger home today. I got to say she is extremely well behaved. I don't know for sure if she's Basenji or not. The shelter said she was according to the vet. She does clean herself in a catlike manner. Anyhow, she's doing good so far.

She looks very sweet, whatever her parentage. We had a lab for 12 years. Sweet mild-mannered dog, a little needy and shed year-round. But great off leash, unlike the curlytails. Labs do tend to be mouthy and need something to chew on more than many breeds, but if she's older (older than 3) she may be beyond that. Either way, good luck with your new friend. Does she have a name yet?
