Update on Jack and Aiden

Basenji Talk
  • He did have a biscut, lol…and he ate it beofre Aiden finished his first bite, lol. I allow Jack to be close to us while we are eating he just needs "reminders" that its not ok to lick the food out of Aidens mouth, eww. LOL!!

  • @Barklessdog:

We got our dogs a little bed for the family room for christmas and I snapped a couple of pics of our Tri. The other dog came over and..

She heeded the warning and went away while I kept playing with him, no scuffle. A child is going to have know theses signs as well.

This is how Tyler looks when he has settled in to sleep and Zoey wants to come in an "nest" before she settles. Zoey has learned to heed the warning also and doesn't disturb Ty when he's already settled.

@lvoss: Have you been counting days since she went in? Also, Walmart has $4 fleece throw blankets that you can use on your furniture for her to lay on as a compromise to britches. If you are really lucky you may be able to find them at Big Lots for as low as $2.50 I'd second what lvoss says about fleece - my pup is in heat as well although we're 10 days further in (Liyah started on the 8th) than you are :D. I found a bolt of fleece in Walmart's remnants section this week - cut 3 throws from it - actually thicker than the pre-made throws. The bolt cost 2.84 - quite a deal!

Good job pulling him from a very bad place, and fostering him till he could find a better arrangement! Now, back to normal!

My husband is in the Navy and is gone a lot. My fur babies really keep me company and I think they look forward to when he is gone so they can reclaim 3/4 of my bed! :D I miss my husband when he is gone but the kids really keep me company. Takes care of the lonliness doesn't it? Jenn
