We often see many comments on this forum about the importance of obtaining a basenji from a reputable breeder. People often ask of questions parentage so as to avoid certain genetic disorders. This is a sad article link text on the effects of irresponsible breeding with a German Shepard pup. So much unnecessary trauma for the dog and the family.
