Sanji in creek hunting
-
Along a single track by a creek he saw water fowl and to my surprise dove in after them, chased, returned, and went again. It's fun to watch.
-
He is FEARLESS!

Fun video. I believe they do flush, that's what the bells are for, so it may just be in the DNA. But given how easily he goes in the water I'm not convinced he's a Basenji!

Of my five, two would happily go into water. The other three not so much. But swimming is one thing, rain decidedly another. Even the swimmers didn't like rain!
-
@donc They would flush out game and be used as a pack to drive small game into nets. Any hunting is hot-wired into a Basenji's DNA. I love to watch them at it.
-
@sanjibasenji he sure is brave!
-
@eeeefarm yup! Same with our Zulu

Ha! I guess the early swimming lessons helped.

Agree there ! Can't be a thoroughbred - has to be some kind of mermaid or merBasenji in there - It ain't natural

I just KNEW he wasn't a thoroughbred after that. Maybe some DNA alterations? Part fish?
