@debradownsouth In the State of PA they have somehow messed with the Bitches Cycle so they can be bred 2 times a year. These are the Amish who routinely take their aged Mules to the New Holland Livestock Auction and sell them by the pound. The Amish do not consider Animals to be living beings, rather they regard them as machines. It means nothing that these Animals have served them for their entire lives, they just want the money.
I analyzed the Humane Slaughter Act of 1958 which was signed into Law by President Eisenhower as he got more letters about passing that Law than any other Legislation. The Captive Bolt Pistol was designed for Bovines and the Horses Brains are farther back in their Skull. They have a 30-second rule, Shackle and hoist and slit the throat. The Horses and their Cousins are aware they are being vivisected. That is a violation and because it happens every single time that makes it illegal to Slaughter a Horse and its Cousins. The USDA knows this but they do do not care. We have a Back Yard Slaughterhouse in NJ and NJ Bans Slaughter for Human Consumption but not for Zoos. I am going to get in touch with the new Governor and ask him to amend the Statue so it includes the Zoos and Theme Parks. Great Adventure gets live Horses so the Lions, Tigers and Wolves can hunt them. I am very familiar with what goes on when it comes to the underbelly of the Slaughter business.
Never buy a Basenji from a Breeder in Pennsylvania!
