    We are J J and Karin, Kansas City, Mo. Both of our kids are rescues, Itty Bitty Basenji now 5 years old, originally from Craigs List and Mr Baroo, now about 2 years old, a BRAT adoption. We have no idea where they came from or exactly how old they actually are. Bitty is the more delicate little girl with the white face, Baroo is the more muscular boy with the totally red head.     What a pretty girl! Her head/ears/face & wrinkles are Basenji-looking while her coloring & build suggest some Malanois blood–that would account for her size & aloofness, too. Our local SPCA does genetic testing as a fund-raising thing, if you're really curious you could try something like that...

    LOL, I can just imagine Spencer's surprise when the frog jumped. I can imagine he probably also jumped like a cat. I love when they do that little cat-like jump. Dolce loves to paw at the little frogs. I don't know what she would have done if the turtle came out of its shell. Oh, how I love the mannerisms of the Basenji. They're so cute.

    Buddy is not an under cover dog he'll start at the top of the bed, get his nose just under them and push them back to the foot of the bed bunched up then lay against it.
