That is very interesting. I will have to try that out because my male is very dominant and my female has separation anxiety when she is left alone. I am curious to see if that has any bearing on their personalities!

Ultra interesting - thanks Joanne! I'll test Kipawa, but I suspect I will find he is both right and left. Oh, and once he gets up from sleeping right now, I will check his whorl too. :)

I think it would be a very useful test when choosing a pup for eventual performance dog competition; might be a good test for choosing show dogs too in that it would weed out the pups that wouldn't cut it on the campaign trail.
