    @Sass7656 - Many a Basenji would prefer to be only dogs..... and certainly I agree with crate training, I do not believe in leave 2 in one crate regardless of the size.... next to each other but in separate crates.... I agree with Debra, you could have just as easily come home to a disaster....

    I agree, bribing is good. Over the years I have developed a personal relationship with my vets and their staff. Office manager is on my facebook (rare if you know me because I have under 90 friends … mostly family, close friends and their kids and friends of my daughter. I keep it limited to provide those kids the most protection and to keep it personal). I never worry about the care my dogs get anyway, but I know the gifts I bring at Christmas to the staff and occasional treats lets them know they are appreciated.

    Make sure you use a good cleaner to get rid of the pee/poo smells. I think often we think its clean, but the dogs can still smell the area, and think, ok, this is where I go…We had an issue with a b peeing on the bed. Using an cleaner that breaks up the "matter" was heaven sent to us.

    @thunderbird8588: At least she seems to have learned, lets hope she generalises it to other cables. Somehow i dont think so:) Benji used to love being blown with the hair dryer on hot. When i had the hoover out he used to get under my feet, i think because of the noise he assumed it would provide the same enjoyment as the hairdryer. I put the nozzle on him, not realising the suction was so strong. He wasn't amused and went into attack mode :) Our Benji LOVES the dyson. We have to take the nozzle over him every time we use it otherwise he goes in a huff! :)

    Wow. I am impressed. We're still at the stage where she won't be crated, can't stand to have one of us out of her sight, and if we're ignoring her she grabs something she isn't supposed to and runs all over the place until we have to pay attention and play. We're having dreams of an adult dog…......hopefully she'll get there someday.
