"Enchanting", yes, excellent decription. They just get in your heart and you're done. Despite of, or because of, their quirks/behaviors we just love them.

on a side note, Otis will cross his paws too and he loves to lay down on the edge of the bed/couch like that with paws hanging over the edge..

When the trick-or-treaters came to the door on Halloween, I'd hold a dog treat up in the air and Haley would "dance" for them. It was so fun!

You said she was 8, right?? That's about the same age as my little princess, Lexi– who also likes to dress up. I wonder if they are long lost sisters!! Where is yours from?
She's from here in Arizona…...born 12/6/2000. Isn't it funny how they don't mind being dressed up? My 2 sons, who are now in their 20's, are darn glad I have someone else to dress up these days! And they wouldn't mind it if I made her take dance lessons, too!!!! ha ha ha ha ..........(I only made the oldest take dance lessons.....and it was when he was very young and only until he broke it to me that he'd rather take wrestling!!!) ANYWAY, Lexi and Haley probably ARE related somewhere up the line! They are both awfully beautiful..........if we do say so ourselves!!
