Fluid build-up in stomach- HELP

I'm so sorry. I went through a similiar situation with my 12 yo beagle. We had to remove the spleen in his case but the cancer had already spread further. I went the steroid route and he was comfortable for another month or so. I sincerely hope they work for you and give Meeka some comfort.

the steroids have started to help a lot. she's acting like her old self again- which i'm happy because i can tell she's feeling good, but its also hard because i know its not going to last.. so i'm just trying to enjoy the time we have and not think about the future..

Do sometime special that you both like while Meeka is feeling better and gets lots and lots of pictures. Give Meeka something special likes to eat and take pictures take pictures playing and sleeping. I am not crazy we did with YOYO and it does help at another time. Have a good rest of the day.

I'm so sorry to hear about Meeka's situation. This is the first time I've read the thread all the way through and I have to say I'm just sitting here in tears. I can't imagine what you must be going through. But please know we all care about you and are sending good vibes your way. Our babies are so precious. This is just so heartbreaking.
