I am new to the forum with a baby girl too. My first basenji since I was a child. My Dexi looks just like your Aoide, it's like they could be sisters. Your pictures are absolutely perfect, they look professional.
A little bit of Gizmo. His first day home.

This guy is sure to melt some hearts!

Thanks, for the warm and uplifting comments so far guys!
The class went great. Everyone, including the teacher, had to go "awwww" when they saw Gizmo.
Gizmo was really quick picking up what was going on. I do believe, or maybe this is just what i wanted to see, that he learned slightly faster than the other older dogs. I guess it's them Basenji genes showing off!
The class only lasted 1 hour (first class out of 7), but Gizmo was totally worn out. He fell asleep in my arms on the ride back home, didn't even try to move when i carried him inside to the apartment and placed him in his crate. Just a little satisfying "sigh" wheezed out of him when put him down, stretched out all four legs, looked up at me, and slowly went to sleep again.
Ahh, what a trooper. I am so proud.

Gizmo is so cute, love the pics. Keep them coming !
Glad the puppy class went well -
Ahhhhh, Gizmo is such a cute little thing - don't get too frustrated with his puppy stuff now - when he's bigger you'll be wondering what all the fuss was about.

You go Gizmo!
Basenji puppies get popular with the kids. When I got my blk/wht Nika in 1994 at 3 months old these 4 little girls saw her in my front yard and that was it. They would come to my door and say "can Nika come out and play"? My front is fenced in by a pickett fence. They would throw a ball or her toy around to each other and Nika would charge at them and the little girls would scream and laugh. -
Keep up the good work Giz and congratulations Nerdy!! Isn't it great fun to have a pup that not only does well, but awes the class trainers? An added bonus…...tired puppy that sleeps the afternoon away; teeth and all:D:D
(BTW, love all the fotos, but the nose scrunch/tooth foto is killer funny)

Well, a quick story, and a pic.
Sadly I slept right through the night time potty schedule, and Gizmo had a little accident in his bed.
So I had to wash his bedding. For a temporary solution, I found 2 old pillows. He LOVED it, and cuddled up in them and slept very sound. Now after his doggy bedding was washed, dried, and replaced into his crate he just looked at it in disappointment. Bowed down his head looking at the bedding. Looked up at me again, and bowed down his head…then let out a short whimper.
"Are you serious? Are you telling me you want the pillows back?" I thought, shocked that he could actually communicate like that to me, I decided to switch back to the pillows and see what he did.
Well, he jumped right in bed, and sleep was instant. :p I guess it's "human bedding" or bust for Gizmo.
Here he is with a funny sleep position again. Snoring like mad!

Aww bless him, they do like their comfort:D
-
Bless his little heart..happy again.
Otis sleps in his crate with the door open, on a thicker crate pad, but he has a human pillowcase over it..so it feels like mommy's bed. -
He's soo cute… Sigh.. I want a puppy too...

OMG - tooooo funny.
I just love puppy pictures - their eyes are so huge.
