    It seems like it may be from an "old" book. I did find it at the following website: https://wakandalegendbasenji.com/basenji-in-africa/ The site owner should be able to tell you something about where they found the photo.

    @Shaye's: I love the poem on the rock as well. Lucky little Kipawa - lucky mom too. At this particular beach, there are quite a few rocks inscribed with various partial poems or eloquent thoughts. People can also pay for a bench as a tribute to a loved one. The beach has a wonderful feeling to it, a truly welcoming area for dogs and humans alike.

    I will miss the snow when it disappears :( Yes, we do live near a dog park, its right behind my house :) And we're surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland so its ideal for the dogs!

    Great looking dogs!!! I see your B&Ws are 30 +lbs. My b/mix is 30+ also. She too, is all muscle and loves to run.
