Sad/Happy Story about a B-mix in Fla

She and her pups are in a foster home, I'm betting there will be a lot of people wanting them, and her. She really looks like a pretty dog. Paper said she was clean and well kept, and very sweet, like a loved pet.
Sadly people dump dogs all the time, they even get dumped at the dog park occasionally. A pet can be taken to the Humane Society, but they won't take stray dogs, so if people just made the effort to take them there they would have a chance.In the scheme of things, being left at a garbage dump is maybe better than the aprox. 12 week old black puppy left out in the country near my brother's house (in Ga.) in the freezing weather a couple of weeks ago, to starve or be coyote food.
Fortunately she found their house and my niece decided to keep her.My sister in law is very religious, and thinks there is a very special place in Hell for those who dump or abuse animals.

I also believe those that hurt dump animals are just teaching their children to do the same to them, when they get to be a problem.
Sigh.
Glad she is warm and safe now. -
How sad, but thankfully someone took the time and effort to get her safe and warm and to have those puppies. She sure is a pretty little thing. I hope they all get placed into loving homes.

I agree with your sister. I, too, live in (north) GA and can't believe what I see and learn from rescue groups in the area. Two of my dogs were dumped nearby during freezing weather..one a puppy. For the first few years I lived here, I was in tears all the time, and I carried dog food in the car. Sharron is right, the mindset is handed down generation to generation.
I'll say a prayer for the poor little girl in Florida. I hope the mama dog and puppies find good homes.

our family dog was let out of a car on the turnpike when she was less than 2 years old. [like she wouldn't get hit by a car on THE TURNPIKE] luckily a husband of my moms coworker at the time saw her and took her into his restaurant and fed her. called his wife and she asked if anyone wanted her.. and thats how we got lady. still have the old girl too. shes almost 14 now!
till this day i cant even understand what was going through their heads to drop off a puppy on the side of the road. let alone a pregnant one! i dont get it. =[
