Welcome to our pack. Tell us more about Arizona and Dakota. And BTW, how is Arizona coping with the little young adult?

Hello
Arizona is a doll, she is well behaved and very much a lady, loves to be cuddled, she is older so I assume that is where her temperment comes into play. Dakota is still a puppy,I guess I really don't need to say more…. he is not well behaved and still fights when on the lead. He is curious, stubborn, playful and at times very destructive....which at times makes me wonder what the heck I was thinking when we brought him home. I love dogs, but am new to this breed, my husband had 2 before we met, unfortunatley 1 got very sick very fast and it was with great heart break that we had to put him down. So I came into the life of Basenjis as older dogs..to my surprise they are not like anyother dogs as puppies. But needless to say I do love them and could not imagine life without them.

It was minus 12 here last night in Niagara Region of Ontario. Warmer than it has been though, we've been going through a cold snap as has most of USA as well.

I was looking for any winter photos from members. Playing in the snow, chasing in the snow, etc. You can always go to the BCOC website and apply, or I can send you an application and a free copy. We're always looking for new members. By the way, our BCOC Specialty is right after the Calgary Stampede this year. Hope some of you guys can make it! That's where you'll see quite a few Basenjis- not as many as the BCOA, but still, we try to get quite a few! Sally Wournos is judging this year.

I would like the application, can I send you a private email with my mailing address? I have some photos on http://s548.photobucket.com/albums/ii350/gneigum/ if you could use.
