He was originally called Patch but I have always liked the name Seeley and decided to call him that. I still can't decide which one(s) to keep and which ones to rehome. There are things about each animal that I really like. Every one of them could earn their AKC championships, well, except Seeley. His second testicle never dropped. 😞 But, his personality suits me very well and he shows a strong desire to lure course. (He reminds me so much of his dad Baron and that's what I was hoping for from this breeding.) Rainie and Blaze are the most logical prospects for my breeding program though. I don't know. Decisions, decisions.
A special 'dog forrest'

Today we went to a forrest that has a fenced part for dogs. It is huge.. so you still have to look for your dog if he takes off.. but… It is a nice feeling that they are 'somewhere' between the fences.
Here some pictures. -
Great photos and how wonderful to have an area where they can run and be contained.

What an AMAZING experience this must have been…thank you so much for the pictures.

This is the one of the few (if it's not the only one) fenced areas for dogs in the Netherlands.. and it's not 'around the corner' for us.. but yes, it's really nice and definitly worth the drive!

KiroGurl, you may have to start an organization to push for the development of dog parks in your city/county. Here in Knoxville, TN we use to have 0 dog parks. We now have two with two more in the planning stages. A young lady that moved here from ??? started a group, went to the city and pushed until she at least got the land provided for a dog park. IN the beginning the volunteers with the group had to do the upkeep (mowing, garbarge removal {and we know what dogs leave as garbage - don't we} etc.). Now the city does the upkeep and the parks are very popular. One of our two current dog parks is at PetSafe Village and the owner of that company donated $500,000 for the development of more dog parks in Knoxville/Knox County!! Thank dog for him!!! There is a story in the August issue of Southern Living on PetSafe Village.

Looks like fun. The dog park near me isn't nearly as nice.
