    I found this shirt today on Cafepress.com [who btw has an [B]amazing selection of basenji stuff to buy!!!] & just had to get it. I know my entire family is going to make fun of me for wearing it [They just do not understand the basenji…] but I just don't care! It was too funny & true to pass up. :)

    The words are kind of small but it says:

    Basenji Property Laws:
    1. If I like it, it's mine.
    2. If it's in my mouth, it's mine.
    3. If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
    4. If I can take it from you, it's mine.
    5. If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours.
    6. If it just looks like mine, it's mine.
    7. If I saw it first, it's mine.
    8. If it's edible, it's mine.
    9. If you have something & put it down, it's mine.
    10. If I chew something up, all the pieces are mine.
    11. If I get tired of it, it's yours.
    12. If I want it back, it's mine.

    Oh they have this on like everything you can think of! They have it on mugs, tote bags, shirts, baby onsies! Everything. Haha. I just went with a shirt :)

Like @tanza, I have sold puppies into apartment environments as long as all other boxes ticked positive. Someone there all the time, proper attention to training, not just leaving the dog alone, especially not as a puppy. btw, he won't bark at all. As you would know if you had really researched the breed. He will cry and scream but not bark ! No. At least you are asking questions but I really think you should find another breed.

    @melduff I for one think this is FANTASTIC news! You guys are so lucky! You have a one of kind super dog with the papers to prove it. Walks around the neighborhood and trips to the dog park are going to be very much fun... Friendly neighbor: Oh, she's so cute! What kind of dog is she? You: Thanks you so much.     nope, his better-behaved half is all boxer. and he's really only THAT good 'cause he practically has a Phd in obedience.
