Canned tuna?

Is there any reason not to give your B canned tuna fish? I thought I'd try adding it to their diet. When I gave them a small taste today (about the size of a dime), they loved it!

I feed mine canned chicken daily, but I've never tried tuna.

My dogs handle tuna ok, although the older one does have a tendency to have a little (but major-stinky) gas after tuna.

My Basenjis love tuna–they get it as a meal treat once a month or so. I have not noticed any problems. I feed my dogs other fish (left-over salmon and other white fish) as part of their diet along with oatmeal, rice, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, meats and chicken. They're very healthy 12 and 14 year olds.

The B might explode (just in his/her rear portion). But thats about it.
