I just noticed in the 3rd pic that they got a stuffed giraffe as a toy…how appropriate! :D :D :D :D :D

We still haven't figured out how our name got pulled out of the hat:D …...but we're certainly glad it did.:cool: :) :D
Thank You for the kind words Pat, we're truely honored to be able to do this for Mia.It is so much easier once the pack accepted them, they all go out together and do they're business.......they're really fitting in nicely!
It was 6 degrees this morning!:eek: None of them wasted much time out there.....out and right back in!......burrrrr.:)

It's -3 here in Chicago and yesterday -18 with the wind chill. Not basenji weather.
Love the new pictures. The little red girl is doing a great velociraptor pose from the movie Basenji Park!

They are my prince and princess so I guess it is exactly how it shoud be! Isn't it? :-))

Long to meet them soon again.We woke up to snow this morning….....the Babies are not fond of snow just yet.:D They follow the others outside to go, but once they feel the cold and wet, they try to run back in the house. They're doing great for just coming from Africa to North America.
They've become more comfortable with the other B's, they will get in a chair together and cuddle up.....it's pretty darn cute! Willy and Jasper are just great with them, Asuma loves Willy! Willy was washing Asuma......teeth, fur, ears.......Jasper even joined in.....it was a washing fest!
Penny and Raven are good with the pups, they seem to be keeping an eye on things, but don't seem to play with them much..........they let Willy and Jasper do that. Penny likes them when they're outside with lot's of space, but inside she doesn't like to be overwhelmed or cornered by them and will run away. Raven seems to be more patient for the pups and they're play, but corrects them when she thinks they need it.It's amazing how they just seem to blend right in and adjust to everything, they are so much fun to watch. It's going to be so difficult to see them go.:(

I Know, I know! The wife was away on a trip to Westminister and I had my hands full manning the Basenji home front.:D

We're taking a day trip to visit our friends at Eldorado Basenji's this weekend.

That has to be a long flight, 12 hour + but I guess the one from Africa is just as long.
Do they jut transport them in regular carriers?
What about when they go to the bathroom?

The plastic crate, marked "live animals" on it…......not much to do about them having to go bathroom.....pee pee pads in the crate.
