    @jeimygirl I have added him to the database and he will appear as soon as I finish playing catch-up with today's incoming litters. So you will be able to see his ancestors very soon ! It is very easy to add his registration number and change his name at need. Email me photos as he matures and get photos of Mom and Dad too if you can - they really bring the pedigrees to life.

    So cute! You all are making me puppy jealous! She looks like she has some brindle in there? Is she a trindle? I liked your vet story too. The first time I took my first boy to our vet she said "Why did you get one of these?" (she can be a bit blunt- but she was actually curious why I chose a basenji, and she had never seen one either!)

    put in a doggy door so he can go in and out as we wsih. Trust you have a fenced back year..... 4 ft fence does not cut it.....

    We feed fresh meat always. We started out with kibble, but we find our B's are more healthy with meat and related chews (soft bones, cartilage, heart, etc.).

    I totally agree, Pat, I've had that experience myself - as you say the whole family should be on board that's why I always insisted on seeing the whole family when placing a pup.
