Oh good god! I just read through some of these forums and saw that the Beneful food by Purina got an F and is crap for food! Previous owners told me this is what they've been feeding Tucker and it is what I have been feeding him. He loves it, but now thas I read it's crap, I wanna switch. Does anyone have a B that prefers the fish based foods? I saw a couple in the 'food ratings' thread and think I'll try the Timberwolf Ocean Blue Canid Formula or the Canadae All Life Stages (It has fish as one of the ingredients).
I tried IAMS chicken a while back and he won't eat it unless I starve him…
Anyone use either of these or have a recommendation otherwise? I'm leaning toward the Timberwolf. It's harder to get than the Canadae because I have to either order it or actually go INTO the DC city to get it in my area...
And Tucker might hate it...
EDIT:
Just read this about the Timberwolf Ocean Blue: "Ocean Blue Canid Formula is fully balanced and meets the requirements of all life stages, but we do encourage the adding of meats such as muscle meats, organ meats, sweetbreads (thymus, pancreas), eggs etc."
Does this mean I should find another food that has more meats in it or that I should give Tuck actualy meat, or is the food find on it's own?
