@Chealsie508: Would you expect anything less from princess Ava?? Lmao I'm lucky that Oakley doesn't throw a tantrum, he looks pathetic the first few times every year I out them on but after that he gets it, how much does Ava weigh? LOL– Ava always has an opinion, and she always makes it known! :) She weighs 22 lbs, and it's a struggle keeping her there. She looooves food. All kinds of food. She's the most food-motivated dog I've ever had. Luckily, it's usually not that cold here. Finicky Miss Ava can go without boots, but Oakley, Zest! and other cold climate Bs need them a lot more-- especially this winter!

Great pictures. It ALMOST wants me to be in that snow… almost. The dogs are certainly enjoying it, and I am sure you are too. Thanks for sharing these photos.

Great pictures folks :D I think the phrase 'Chow Hounds' really applies. In the month with us Leo has learned that he gets no food while we are eating. So he lays on the rug under the table making sure we don't drop anything. If there is food on the table with no-one around that is fair game, my Naan the other night was a target. He will 'surf' the counters as in this first week picture, but now if we see him he knows OFF is coming so he pretends that he stretching with a 'What!, Who Me?' look. @myran: Did it happen when his family jewels were examined som Basenji boy´s can be very protective about them.Anyway it doesn´t have to mean anything can be just part of his growing process better luck next time. You know you have a sweet boy who loves the world so do not wreck your head about it. I don't know exactly.. but he had no problems with the judge looking at his teeth. And yes.. I know he's the sweetest in the world.. so I'm not worried about him randomly biting people ;) I just hope he won't learn from this experience that it is ok to growl/snap and will repeat it again…. We will definitly try to put some more energy in ring training again.
