Amazing animals!!!!

    Have I said lately that I love, love this breed of dogs, Basenjis:D :D are the smartest dogs I have ever seen. Tonight my hubby and I were playing with Sahara on our bed, and she started to chew on my hand alittle for me to give her attention and my hubby said, "Sahara don't bite Mommie, give her love, and she looked at me with her head cocked and pawed at my arm and started licking me, it was just amazing. She was listening to my hubby so intently and just got real close to me and started giving me love. We could not believe it, I have always noticed how Sahara listens to me so intent, like she knows exactly what I am saying. Of course she has times she doesn't listen, like when I want her to do something she doesn't want to do, haha!!!! The majority of the times she does listen and does what I want. I LOVE this furbaby, hubby and I are Basenji hooked.

    @Candy: eeeefarm, Enjoyed your story, sounds like it worked. Are you still clicking? I get out the clicker when I want to teach a new behaviour…...the latest one was "waving" at me. I don't train on any schedule, as he knows everything I require of him on a daily basis, but once in awhile it is fun to grab the clicker and some treats and see what we can learn today. He starts offering behaviours as soon as he sees the clicker come out. "What do you want me to do, Mom?" :)

    Me too. and I also wonder how these films can be a blessing as well as a boon for breeders? I do know that we have a major problem here in Border Collie Rescue which initially arose after the television series of Sheepdog trials. So many thought what a wonderful pet such clever dogs would be!

    Actually, I think all the Breed All About its are 30 minute shows, so probably 22-24 minutes of content. We have done a search on any new DVR we have gotten and always keep it on there. One of our dogs goes crazy any time we put it on, it is hilarious.

    I have Llamas and my b gets along just finr with them at 1st she did not understand them but now she gets along just fine w/ them

    You can check the Animal Planet web site, they have a small clip of it you can look at, I just looked. I haven't been able to find it for sale yet.
