@pawla All three of mine loved tissues, especially as puppy’s, used or fresh lol. My latest dog, Bandit, used to grab the end of the toilet roll and unravel about 30 feet of it around the house.

These are photos of my boy, Gadget... some older ones and some recent ones. He's 7 now. Anyone know what breed he may be crossed with? He's about 30 lbs.

I don't have a clue. A DNA test might help give you the main breeds... but Gadget is so cute.

@dreamskape
He could be???? What are some of his behaviors? Does he have any quirks?
He is a very CUTE dog! -
I don 't know either, but he sure is a good looking dog.

This dog is really cute! I see GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG more than Basenji. His head and face look like German Shepherd dog to me...
It does not matter because you rescued him and just be happy with him!!!

I thought he looked a bit like Shepard as well, but he is no where near the size of a Shepard. He is only sightly larger than a Basenji. As for traits, he has a wrinkly forehead, he does bark, but he also yodels with excitement when we return home from being gone.... (he only uses it on us).... not really destructive but he has a habit of ripping up the tissue paper in the bathroom waste basket into tiny little pieces. He has a tail curl, but not as tight as purebred. He is also very protective of me and aloof with strangers. And finally, he is headstrong... if you ask him to do something, he will evaluate whether it's going to be beneficial to him or not. LOL

That is what I thought - some of the pics look very GSD to me too.

Mine does the same thing! It's crazy.

@zande Those B Genes are hard to totally obscure and the Dog does look like a German Shepherd Dog. Those Dogs will chew things like toilet paper, etc. The GSD is also aloof with people and they are very protective of their 'Pack'. There are so many GSD sold in Pet Stores in the US and they are mainly from Puppy Mills. How this dog got to look like a GSD is a mystery but even though he is small, the face and the ears look like GSD to me. It does not really matter because he now has a great home!
