What Breeders do you suggest?

Hello! I am hoping to add a basenji puppy to my family this coming season and need some recommendations for trustworthy breeders. I live in Myrtle Beach, SC but would be willing to travel to pick up if necessary. Anyone know of any good breeders?

Go to www.basenji.org and then to the Find a Puppy link. You can search by state and all those listed there are members of the Basenji Club of America parent club. They health test their basenjis and the results are public at www.offa.org for all to see. And I always suggest that you do check it out for yourself....just don't take someones word for it. Definitely go with Tanza's suggestion. Any breeder not listed there probably is not responsible. If you find litters, post here who you are looking at and talk to folks who have their line.
