• It's been quite awhile since i've been on the forums so I thought I should post some newer pictures of Tenji. Don't think he's really grown or changed much since the last time I posted on here….He's still a little runt!

    Tenji's "snobby" look

    Some black and white

Tenji's spotted something up the road and had to go investigate!

  • Tenji didn't scuffle with the ground hog????

  • Nah he doesn't really bug them too much. He got a bit too close a few times and it would chatter and chase him off a little and he'd back away and give it a little more room. Usually he'll just go up and check them out, stick his butt in the air and try get them to run and play, after awhile he'll realize they aren't interested in playing and he'll move along and investigate something else.

  • He looks like a happy boy! Good thing he is smart enough not to tangle with the groundhog. Those guys can deliver a nasty bite!

  • Last summer he got a face full of porcupine in the back yard so I think he learned his lesson after that. It wasn't too bad though, just had to remove about 7 quills from his lip/nose and it was pretty easy to do it by hand. Haven't had any problems with him and wild animals since then.

Yes he probably learned his lesson after that one!

  • First Basenji's

What a handsome dawg! Love his "cinnamon bun"!

  • He has certainly learned a lesson then, but what a way to learn!! Lovely pictures - he obviously enjoys his life!

  • What a great series of pictures of one happy looking basenji - thank you so much for posting them!

You may call Tenji a 'runt' but he looks like a perfect runt to me. He's got an outstandingly expressive face. 🙂 And I remember seeing the pic of him with the quills stuck in his snoot. I cringed when I saw it the first time, and cringed just now again. That must have really hurt. Obviously he learned his lesson well. Great to see him doing so well!

  • What a good looking boy 🙂

  • Beautiful boy!!!!

  • What a beautiful Basenji! I love the pictures of him trying to play with the ground hog! He looks like he loves all the open space!
