    Hi Everyone.
    My name is Suzanne and I live in San Jacinto CA, with my husband and two kids Giselle and Isaiah.We are the proud owner of a beautiful R/W Basenji female (Rose). We also have a mini pin (Skittles)and Aust Shep (Maximus).
    They all get along great together.Rose even gets along with the cat(Mr.Kitty)
    I would love to hear from other members.

    Love the name Rose. I've never heard that name for a dog, but it would suit your Rose for she's red. Enjoy the forum - It's so helpful.

    @abonnard Pee pads got me through in the end, she would pee every 20 mins for the first months, then 40 mins, then she suddenly went to being able to hold it for many hours. One of the best purchases I got before she arrived was a small carpet washer, saved my sanity. The cleanup is so key otherwise they go back to the same spot.

    @basenjilovers - She is very cute, please make sure that DNA testing was done for Fanconi and PRA. And if not or you are not sure, you can get the test kits at www.ofa.org. You do the test as it is a cheek swab.
