I have a question. Is photo #73 the African? I know it is hard to tell from a sitting pic, but is it purebred...it looks really big and the ears seem funny - do they stand up? Do you have any other pics of it? Do you know its registered name? ...questions, questions... :)

Yes, Dexter the african basenji is #73. He was the biggest basenji there, but not by much. He was incredibly sweet and I don't remember Dexter getting into any 'discussions' with any other basenjis. His ears fold a little at the tip, but they do stand up.His tail is a little longer, and is not tightly curled. Sorry, but I don't know Dexter's registered name. I believe his owners read the forum. Perhaps they will let us know and provide more pics of Dexter.

He's a Lukuru but I don't know what he registered name is. I love his sister Peggy.

My dog and Dexter look almost identical. Other than Kentucky's tail being straight.
