    @Gooby: Goober stole all the other dog's breakfast and dinner yesterday now he won't eat his dinner, has diarrhea and just threw up. We know he is very sensitive to his food so could this cause it? Also he had a new brand of wet food yesterday. And this is another good reason for feeding it crates and taking the food away when you let them out

    I have two females and two males that live together without problems. I have another female that has to be separated from the other two females and can only be with her male buddy. So I've had to separate into two packs. I have a mutt(short legged basenji:D ) that has seen all the basenjis come into the fold, four of the basenji's I trust around her two I don't. They're all different IMO. Male and female pairings seem to just work out the best. Raising them together as pups up's the odds for success, but things can certainly change as they get older.     THe place we kennel our dogs (also go to day camp every other Friday) love our Basenjis. They beg us to bring them back and someone there has asked us every time we have been there about when we were getting our new pupy since we called and asked how old they had to be to start going. That place is missing out big time.
