And difficult to pronounce!
Sally was taking pics, she will be posting them on wherever she posts them!
I hope I don't see any of me and Pip, Pip was not the best behaved. He wasn't interested in the skate park or the two football matches going on either side but couldn't take his eyes off of the man unrolling a hose in completely the wrong direction to where he should have been looking! Typical basenji :D
Dont know what you mean…...Akmar Queen Ankhesenamun......just rolls! ;O)

The judge seemed courteous and professional to me when he judged Poppy. The show had a lovely atmosphere and even the footballers and skate boarders etc. did not seem to be any trouble. This is the last time at Brampton so let’s hope new venue is better if we are indoors. Well done to all the winners.
Steve.

Try googling the venue, I saw a pic of it this morning, it does look big with parking for 100 cars.

It will be a bit further for you Jess, a bit south from Brampton but further over to the east, if you know what I mean! Travelling time for me would be approximately the same as Brampton, not a journey I enjoy very much though (M25 Roadworks)

That might end up being TOO far unfortunately, especially for the Open shows :( Brampton is pushing it a bit as it is.

It will be interesting to see what the entries are like there. I wont be at the December open show as it's a bad time of the year to take a day off of work (I have already taken a Saturday for LKA) but would possibly go to the spring open show depending on the judge.

Jess, you soft southerner! :p lol. I would have thought that Cambridge would only be a couple of hours away for you - but admit that at that time of year i dont really like to travel too far either. Remind me to tell you about the time i was snowed in on the M6 on my way to a show (was it LKA in the early 1990's?)- stuck for 12 hours on the motorway, then 6 hours in a service area, finally they cleared the motorway back home (never did get to the show) - and on the way home my brand new car broke down 6 times….... think i was nearly in tears by the time home came back in sight!

Yeah, but you Scots are used to having to travel hours and hours to get anywhere ;)
If its more than 2 hours i have to REALLY convince myself i must go. And i dont do long distances on my own :p If i broke down i'd panic

Ohh my mum remembers LKA that year well as she was judging buhunds and was stuck in a minibus along with several other judges for about 10 hours:rolleyes: They considered walking as they were on the slip road so not far from the NEC but were told it was too dangerous to try and walk it.

I have also had a look on Google Maps and it should be ok as long as the bowling green, tennis courts, football pitches and children's playground are not all in use when we are there!

We will probably be inside Steve! It's a pity we can't use the KC venue at Stoneleigh but I suppose that would be very expensive.
We used to use a venue near Silverstone which was owned by a Boxer Club (in the 80's) I wonder what happened to that?

It's a pity the new venue's further away than Brampton. Too far for an open show for us i'm afraid. Probably travel for the championship show though.
