Unless there is true fighting leave them alone. They will work things out - the resource guarding may be behind it - but one simply doesn't want the other to be so close or whatever.

Hi Direy, To answer you, after 1 year of sleeping in my arms w/no problems, my Bgirl began growling & snarling in my own bed. Snarling scared me, so she now sleeps on the floor. I really miss sleeping with her, but that's not going to happen any time soon. Best of luck with you and your doggie. I hope it works out! Also, yes, I do want to see the video . . . please tell me how I can do that. Maxie

I suppose there is a point where you become immune to the growlies with basenjis….female or male...you can tell when they have that rabid scarey sound and that of course, is the sound not to be tolerated if you want to remain queen couch potato!! (self proclaimed title) LOL I say squirt the sucker with a water bottle and you will get that spot back lickedy split! There is nothing worse than trying to settle down on the couch after a long day of work and have a basenji being a weenie. Basenjis are so full of isms....
