I'm glad Shaye is OK, that gave us a scare. It was such a pleasure to meet you and your husband and the darling Shaye. She is such a cute little puppy, so energetic and fearless! Shaye's mom brought Shaye to the dog park yesterday to meet up with us. There was a boy pup her age, who she pretty much ignored, and 12 other basenjis. She was a little tornado, racing about and teasing the big dogs. She ignored some warning growls and got nailed, but thankfully not serious. Shaye was back running in 10 minutes. She is a really pretty and sweet little girl, way more energy than I could manage! So we had 6 basenjis from Forum, John's Bodhi and Savanna, my 3 and Shaye…how cool is that????

Thanks, I had to google "liver cake", didn't know what it was. I'll have to give it a try. Anything to keep her from wiggling around everywhere. :D

Yes, Mody is very sturdy looking at 3 mo. What a sweetie. My Shaye is not so - taller and thinner boned I think.

Oh, she is sooo cutie…I think Mody is really fat, when I see all these tiny little girls..... Like your little B, send my kiss to her:)

Gossy would say - there are never enough toys! At a pinch even a piece of paper will do.

Thanks…She is a doll. She is extremely active and keeps me hoping because she does not have siblings.... I had her at the park yesterday and we ran and ran. She was so tired last night I couldn't get her out of the crate to go outside. Finally...I wore her out.

We call her Dobby more than we call her by her real name. She has his personality as well!
