after owning a basenji mix for 13 years, my family recently adopted a basenji from BRAT. for a little bit of Bunny history, see http://www.basenjiforums.com/showthread.php?t=10398 . thanks for putting together a great organization!

Welcome, we all feel like we know you so well, after your adventures with Bunny! I have read about 4 or 5 basenjis over the past 10 years who survived a month or more in terrible freezing weather, they really are crafty survivors. Bunny is lucky to have such devoted humans to keep searching the way you did. I know I was checking every morning to see if she was found, and was so thrilled to read on another list that she was home!
As for the off duty cop, pushing the incident hopefully will alert his superiors to his bullying behavior and maybe save another person down the line from his abuse. Most law officers are in it to do good, some are in it to push people around (with a gun, no less).

hi Greg. I can't tell you how happy I was to hear that Bunny was found. Every day I signed on to the forum, hoping for some good news. In my heart, I knew your efforts were not in vain - you were so diligent in working with people to find her - so commendable. She is lucky to have you as her Daddy. Welcome to the forum!
