    I'm impressed and now I'll be able to talk about semis and confuse UK drivers!

    Also Bungwa,Arrow and MIggy are jealous of AJ and say they'd like to drive a semi too!! Does he fancy three Basenj boy companions on his rides?

    AJ is on this truck because he was fighting with the show boys in his former household. It was either be a truck dog or be subject to the death penalty for continuous and repeated assault. Therefore, he had to get his CDL (Cruising Dog License) and a log book and hit the road.

    I'm quite sure if he was expected to share his "ride" with any other dog than Melody, he would most certainly not approve. He's kind of a butt that way.

    If you leave things in their reach (any puppy/young dog) will get into trouble.... pick things up.... put them away, they do not know the difference between their toys/chews and things like remotes/glasses/etc... they have your scent on them. You have to work on crate training if you can't secure a place for them.

    Yes, Bungwa will toss any of his toys into the air and catch them but definitely will not catch anything I throw. He has no competition because the others just look and say 'Boooring'!!! Interesting about your best hunters being fetchers, Quercus. I wonder if there's a reason in it or whether it's a coincidence!?

    All you clever people - of course you have an advantage over me who has never been to the USA and I'm ashamed to say am not very good at geography!.. mind you that's anothere thing I've learnt from the forum as I look up the various places in my atlas where you live and mention. What fun - why don't we have a Basenji quiz!!

    Yes, I do get quite a few comments about him. He's a striking dog in a truck stop. He's cleaner than most other dogs I see out here. Heck, he's cleaner than most of the truck drivers! Had a driver watch him on a walk one time, said, "That dog looks like a dog show dog. He even walks fancy!" I had never considered his gait as "fancy" before, but, okay… When he lays up in the window like that, lots of people walk past, point him out to each other and smile. He's a great Basenji ambassador.
