Night crying /howling…

  • i have the sleeping quietly done now…........thanks everyone for your input...very helpful. winco now has decided to make the lowMmmmmmmmmmmmmm! noise when my friend comes into the house/ do i ignoreshout move awayfrom usany sujestions pals erica and the wing commander,....

  • Be aware that the lowmmmmmmmm sound might be the beginnings of a yodel. This is how our boy started. He didn't yodel for the longest time, and now he only does it when someone comes in. The longer it has been since he saw you and the more he likes you, the more vocal he is, but it all started with what we thought was a growl. Then we noticed his body language, ears slicked back (whippet ears) and tail wildly wagging, running in circles, etc

Does he like your friend? If so, this might be what he's doing, and you don't want to discourage him from the beginnings of his yodel!!

  • yes Dan i have ,,,,,loads hahaha erica

Just seeing this, not sure how I missed it but I am so sorry. Yes, blessed with nearly 16 yrs… but that's more years to leave a bigger hole in your heart.

Bdawg, I love those short talkie sounds. Katie does those all the time. I especially love the 2:00 minute mark when Lexi throws herself to the floor, just like a toddler in a temper tantrum!! Ty has always been a yodeler/howler and rapid tail wagger, but he never acquired the shorter "speech patterns". Katie is the mouthier short speech maker, but only yodels as a greeting to immediate family or to remind of a forgotten treat. She also only wags when extremely excited (ie.."look what I just stole" moments)
