    No beds for my guys as they would just chew them and tear them up and mine are older. Once they took the large orthopedic bed outside when I had the door open because of the good weather and I am sure more than one did it! Jennifer

Barkless….HAHAHAHA....sump pump....HAHAHAHA....complete with plumbers crack (sort of)....HAHAHHA....GREAT one liner, I was at critical mass (full bladder) when I read that and almost wet myself.     Mine are all snugglers and bed warmers, but Eddie is the hottest basenji I have ever known! He is the one that is in and out of the covers all night long, topper & Nicky usually settle under-cover and are set for the night. But if I get up to go to the bathroom, I am reminded of the Simon & Garfunkel song '"Cecilia…"I got up to wash my face, when I come back to bed someone's taken my place". Anne in Tampa

    I'm just an owner, but I really like basenji's when they are larger. Males are really impressive. The compound- Your place is so cool it seems like it would be cool to market or design backyard dog habitats for a living. I guess the problem with any landscaping business is highing people to work for you and sometimes having to do all the work yourself. The guy at Aquascapes ponds built a multi million dollar empire from his garage. It all started from him building turtle ponds in his back yard.

    Nala ate her first bed like that! We got an outdoor one and she would lay on it and not chew it, but then my brilliant husband put it inside a wicker basket - she ate the basket. Now we have an enormous bed from Costco for inside during the winter and out on the porch during the summer. We buy the beds like that at Wal-Mart for $10 so we can just toss them if she digs or chews them. So far, so good! She's awfully cute!!
