What is this little boy's name? Throw me a bone…..

Can't wait for the update and the pictures…gotta have pictures!
-
My criteria in short?
Not from a puppymill or basenji mom that was having multiple litters for profit
From a home with Basenji experince
A basenji under 1-1/2 years old
A boy
Black and white or brindle in color
Not larger than Caesar in height (hopefully).I am heading out right now to pick him up at the airport. The owner is flying in with the puppy in the passenger area. I wonder if he was a screamer on the flight. I am super excited!!
Well, hopefully these breeders also test for health. Sounds like you knew what you were looking for…but just for the record, the price for basenji puppies from responsible breeders usually reflects the amount spent on health testing, reproductive and prenatal, not kennel name. The breeders that I respect charge far less than pet stores, or internet breeders.
Either way, I can't wait to hear about your new boy! Good luck!

Well, little Cairo has been with us for 3 days now. He is doing great and has a great personality. He is sweet and playful, but in a non machismo sort of way. He is very lovey dovey…
Here are pictures of him the day I picked him up at the airport. He is meeting the shop dog where I work. They loved each other!!
