    There's a sweet story on the news here today about a family that lost their boxer Louie in November 2005. They thought the ground had swallowed him, no leads or anything for 13 months. The little girl was devastated to lose her dog. A few weeks ago the dad was getting ready to search a boxer rescue web site when he had to go do something, then he decided to take a nap. His oldest daughter came along and found the website and there was Louie!! Louie stayed at the boxer rescue and the parents kept it a secret from their little girl till she walked into the living room Christmas morning! That's what I call a Christmas miracle.

    Somebody wrote a letter to the editor in this morning's paper suggesting a microchip before he escapes again.

    Sounds like that dog needs a nail trim. (long nails are my pet peeve… that sound on my floor would make me nuts} -Joanne

    Actually - I posted it on the Podengo group - lots of members in the area and looks like might be something from one of the hunt packs (or a golden GSD mix) Maybe one of them will bite.

    What is it with MILs and chain forwards? I really have no interest in any of them, but DHs mom keeps sending them. DH's stepmother actually never emails us a letter….only forwards......sometimes 4 or 5 a day.

    It is so true - everyone asks why we have 3 dogs. When I got Hemi, people thought he was too big. Then we got Cyrus (the B), and he was too bad. When we adopted Oscar from an animal shelter, we had too many. We get so much love and companionship from our dogs. I enjoy them more than most people I know. I wouldn't trade any of them! I would actually like to get another. Shhhhh! Jenn
