    this is the correct web page that has the gumby in waverly however gumby is a boy; we found our rescue on petfinder.com and she still cost us $200 from the warren county shelter. CarolAnn was very helpful in answering questions we had once we adopted Cammie. I would definitely considering driving up to CarolAnn's.

    Hi There,

    I live in Mid-Michigan and we are expecting our 2nd litter here in couple of weeks. We are not breeders but we have 3 basenjis, 1 is from our last litter. She is due within the next couple of weeks and they will be ready to go closer to the beginner of February.

    Go to the Basenji Club of America's web site (BCOA). To find Basenji breeders go to the Breeder Directory. Breeders are listed by state.     Where are you located? I have several breeders to recommend in the midwest! In the meantime, checking the BCOA list as Tanza suggested is a good place to start. Be warned though, puppies are being born this time of the year and many breeders have waiting lists!

    Also, contact Pam Hamilton with Camp Basenji. She is in Florida, but has several lovely females. Most of her rescues are not posted because people get fixed on a dog's photo and often it isn't the right dog. She is superb as helping get a good match. http://www.campbasenji.org/
