Although the dogs don't have direct contact w/ one another, they do all have contact with your KIDS…right?? Could be a bug that is being carried by them back and forth, but that they aren't affected by. I would tell you to make sure that shoes stay outside or in the garage, (so things cannot track in, because that can happen) or walk thru a pan of bleach before coming in, and handwashing (lots of it), and keep clothes that have been around the other dogs away from yours too...
Of course it could just be coincidence...or something else entirely....
Well.. I DID think of that, but Keoki got it first, then the GS - which my kids haven't had anything to do with since mid-summer, then the GD -which my kids see regularly. The GS stays in her yard, I don't walk my dogs in the neighborhood.
I could see if the order was Keoki, GD, GS because the GD and GS do play together.
But you are right, there definitely could be a connection between the kids and dogs somehow. We all remove our shoes upon entering the house, but obviously clothes are changed between dog visits, etc. It's something to think about…..
