Me and my wife are looking for a male puppy.Somewhere in Eastern Europe
or closer to our Bulgaria.Can anybody help us with info or adresses of trustworthy breeders around us?

Be sure that any puppy you consider has at least 1 parent tested Probably Clear by the Linked Marker DNA test for Fanconi Syndrome. You can confirm test results on the OFA webpage at http://www.offa.org

I would try to get a puppy from Finland as they are the most vigilant in Europe when it comes to health issues.Just write www.basenji.fi and click on the english flag.

I was looking at that site and noticed that many of the litters show "Clear by parents" for Fanconi. Just to clear up any miscommunication about the Fanconi testing, there is no "Clear by Parents" accepted by OFA, since this is a linkage test…. and each should be tested (in my opinion)

Yes, I agree. We are going to testing this litters for Fanconi in our Club.
Our Masai is Clear by Parents too, but he goings to testing at an early date.
