I am trying to adopt from BRAT but I haven't had any luck. The first one I tried on ended up not caring to much for cats. My home was inspected and approved. My application is in. They have one right now named Saphire that I have sent off a few request but no reply. Any tips or pointers that you can give me would be appreciated. thanks

That is great, how is Jack doing these days? I am guessing there has been improvements?

**Hes is doing great!! Just had a little bump in the road with the sudden changes, BUT he absolutly ADORES Aiden and Aiden loves him too. They always cuddle. Aiden loves to scratch his fur. (And jack likes it too) The only problem we have had actually was once when DH and Jack were rough housing, Jack got a bit too excited and BOLTED into our room, going too fast and couldnt break before the bed so he jumped up there and landed on me and Aiden…but it was an accedent. No ones fault. Everyone was fine...and thats about the worst of it so im Glad. He does well at the dog park and with visiters too. In fact we went to the Dog Park today and played in the snow...Jack LOVED it and he played with a non nutered male!!! wow…(couple little growls, but nothing compared to before) Ive actually noticed that Jack is better since Aiden is here....he's calmer, gentle...and (WOW) leaves (ONLY) Aiden's stuffed toys un-touched!! (Wait did someone bring me a new doggie, lol....)
Thanks for asking about Jack!!! He is doing awesome!!!**

I am so glad to hear the great news about Jack, I was worried for him in the beginning. I think he was just jealous of all the changes, and new sounds (baby), Basenjis are one jealous breed. It is also good to hear he and Aiden have bonded, would love to see pics of them together. It is awesome that he leaves Aiden's stuffed animals alone, this is one beautiful, smart Basenji.:D

So happy for all of you! You did a great job with Jack you should be so proud of your hard work!! It sounds like he's a happy dog.

It's great that things have finally settled down.
I think it's cute that he sleeps under the bed - maybe he just didn't like the nighttime activities :p -
You're very brave; I'd never post pics of my under the bed in public.

HAHAA!! I try and keep things clean…ive become obsessed with cleaning since Aiden got here
