    Welcome to the forum (warning - its very addictive). There's a thread on here somewhere that dealt with bringing a new dog into a basenji occupied home. You will find some helpful hints there.

    I will post some soon. Weezy chewed my usb cable to attach my camera to my comuter, I am waiting for a new one to come in the mail. I kept finding all of these little black pieces of plastic all over the floor, it took me a few hours to figure out what it was then I found her secret hiding place (under the love seat in my childrens game room) I only found about two inches of it intact. Grrrrrr. My fault I shouldn't have left it where she could find it. Thank you for the warm welcome!

    I'm bringing home two boys from BRAT monday to foster, so I feel your excitement! was your new boy posted on BRATs website?? if so whats his name?? cant wait for pictures!!

    No not yet, I picked them up Monday and I'm trying to get to know them, since they are very timid at first. I hope to get them posted soon so they can find a forever home, I think they are gonna make really loving pets! They are very sweet B's.

    What a sweet face! Thank you for taking her in, she needs a forever home. As Pat indicated, unless you have info on the parents being clear, or at least one clear, she should be tested for Fanconi asap.

    @Nemo: Hey Moth. I hope you and Watson are able to join some of the BCOSW activities in the future. Unfortunately the one we had today was rained out :( but we have some more planned in the near future. What part of Wisconsin are you in? I'm up by Green Bay. Clay Hi Nemo. We are in Madison. Going to events sounds like fun :)

    Luzambo, I too had one pass last March. After that I was left with one and said once he passed, I was going to be done with dogs – too much of work and emotional strain. Yep, I was going to be free to... well, to do something. Then I found a little girl related to Brie just 2 weeks later and 6 months later I have yet another. Yes, they're a lot of work at times, but so is most everything in life. I love having them around and the house would be often boring otherwise. I'm sure Pharaoh and my Brie are hanging out in their private club looking down on us saying "what are you guys doing down there?" And with a signature like yours, I don't think you'll be waiting long. Welcome to the forum!
