@jengosmonkey thanks for the tip! We have chew toys everywhere now too, they are certainly a must have and for the most part does good about sticking to them. It is quite funny to see him when he grabs something he shouldn't, he knows it and you can almost hear him laugh as he runs away with it 😅

Obi is his call name, we haven't given him anything other than that so far. I saw the database and it really neat! I'll send you pictures when he's older for it too

@jeimygirl - It is important that you register your pup with AKC... please do so... and let Zande know the registered name

@tanza & @Jeimygirl I can add him as "Obi" in inverted commas but need his birthdate too. And doing that makes him look like a dog without papers and that is a shame. He should be a proud Basenji, fully registered with the AKC !

@tanza & @Zande I am checking with the breeder about the registration as he inquired about the registration info last month; I also picked a registration name (Mibre's The Force is Strong, DOB 10/11/2021). I'll reach out when it's confirmed for the database.

@jeimygirl I have added him to the database and he will appear as soon as I finish playing catch-up with today's incoming litters. So you will be able to see his ancestors very soon ! It is very easy to add his registration number and change his name at need.

Email me photos as he matures and get photos of Mom and Dad too if you can - they really bring the pedigrees to life.
